Re: Badland Kit Wait Time

Are there people here that would be willing to give advice to a new builder? It seems that I am fighting various issues on almost all portions of this build.

Re: Badland Kit Wait Time

I waited 15 months for my kit. I am very pleased with the quality but I am having some problems with incorrect and missing parts. Chris has been vrey good about support and is making things right .

Re: Help in assembly

The very first thing is the fact that I have never built an ultra lite aircraft. I believe I have the technical background as I am a journeyman tool and die maker and a Master Electrician. At the moment I am finding that I do not have the correct parts in some cases and I am missing some in other ca...

Help in assembly

Hi Everyone.
Recently picked up my F2 kit and I am looking for advice and solutions from someone who has built one. Is there anyone out there that is willing to discuss with me? I am currently in Michigan and I am finding this to be a challenge.

Re: Hello from Michigan

Took delivery of my F2 on Wednesday. The quality is unbelievable. I am now in the process of gathering tools to complete the build and advice from other members. I do plan on joining MULA ( Michigan Ultra Lite Association ) very soon but it looks like it will be sometime before I am ready to fly thi...

Re: Hello from Michigan

Hi fellows, I also live in Michigan in the "Thumb" and have had a downpayment on an F2 for awhile. Really looking forward to the build. I am sure that I have the technical experience to build it but dont know yet if I have the balls to fly it. I do not have a license but I did train in a C...

Re: New Builder - BA 103 - F2 Kit

Hey Bruce, Sorry for not getting back here sooner. How is your build coming? I have not heard from Chris since I was there, but Im not concerned as he had 2 kits ahead of me and he needed to get one ready for Oshkosh in July. I am going to attend the experimental Aircraft show this year where I hope...

Re: New Builder - BA 103 - F2 Kit

I expect to have my kit in January of 2024. I did not include an engine or BRS as technology changes so fast that I expect changes on both before my kit is ready for those items. I am going with oratex as my skills as a painter are somewhat lacking. I like the 4 cylcle engine as an option but think ...

Re: New Builder - BA 103 - F2 Kit

Hello Bruce, I was in Chris' shop the day before you picked up your kit and was very impressed with the way he had your kit crated up. I was there to put a down payment on an F2. I thought that I saw a Polini Thor engine with the materials. Anyway, I am very excited about my future build and would b...
