This will be great. We haven't had anyone document the mounting of an emergency chute, so greatly appreciate you adding it to the forum. Peer found a chute in a soft case at 11 lbs. Have you had any feedback on the difference between the soft or hard case? I also wonder if the FAA would consider the...

That's what I noticed as well. Picked up the tail quick. Now, using Jim Pfarr's Belite technique may get the plane off the ground even faster. Jim goes no flaps until just below rotation speed, then jacks in the flaps which pops the plane into the air, drops the flaps partly and fly's away. https://...

I don't think you'd have any trouble with syncing the carbs. There's only one control on the carb that would need adjustment (as best I can tell), and that's to make sure both throttle cables pull the same. As long as you did the same turns on the only fuel mixture adjustment, then they should be th...

I agree that the short gust locks may damage the plane. There's simply not enough material in between the fabric to really take any strain? I am late to the party, here. I am pretty sold on the F23. First it is air cooled, meaning less to go wrong like a coolant leak, etc. Second, opposed runs smooth. Smooth is less to go wrong.
