I agree that the short gust locks may damage the plane. There's simply not enough material in between the fabric to really take any strain? How easily do they sand or grind down at the thick end? I am thinking some adjustment may be necessary for any excess glue on the spar. I have been checking on AOA's for a while now. Most are designed to go in the leading edge of the wing which will not work on the SR/RR-Badlands.
