Proper Polini Thor 202 Mount Ring

Post by ksatter26 »

Finally the proper Polini Thor 303 Mount Ring showed up. I spent this morning inserting the rubber shock absorbers into the ring and finally mounted the ring on the very fine firewall weldment provided by Chris. I also set the rudder travel stops.

I've worked out the fuel line routing and have come up with a fitting which mounts to the cockpit starboard fuselage side members. It provides a stable platform on which I am mounting the fuel line primer bulb and the cutoff valve. Also, on the backside of the fitting I will use nylon wire clamps for routing fuel level sensor wires. I just finished applying the etching primer to the pieces and will enamel paint them in the morning prior to finaly assembly.

Picked up the powder coated Jury and Lift Strut parts from Crossfit Power Coating this morning. They really look good.

Still no camera battery charger from E-bay so I'll be posting a raft of pictures once it shows up.

USP guy just delivered my E-prop.
