I think the doors and logo look great, and accent the logo on the tail. I have to admit that I don't care for the bump cowl, but in this case it's absolutely spot on, especially with that bright orange. That was an excellent color to have it painted. I'm just not a fan of the bump cowl itself. I would rather have something like the Carbon Cub has.

The problem is the Cub has a rounded fuselage. Going from a square of the Badland to a more rounded look isn't going to be easy. Along with that because there is no reduction unit needed on the Cub, the taper from the cockpit to the prop is much smoother. I'm still looking for a way to make this happen on my Badland, but it's going to take a little thinking. Possibly a prop extension to push the prop further away from the reduction unit. The boxer style of the Hirth F23 I think would be ideal; where using the bump cowl I think I'd have to cut some holes on each side for the cylinders.

I'm going to be very pleased once I reach that point and will have E011BC on the tail of my Badland.

I spoke with Chris last night ( mostly chasing my 303 no spark problem ... looks to be a bad CDI) when he said that Oratex may not be able to deliver Fokker Red 600 material until MUCH later in the year. He's getting ready for Oshkosh and will try to snag enough of the Red (probably 6000) for my wings need.
