Finished mounting the components on the panel. More work to come on the backside ... wiring, etc. Will disassemble, prime and paint (probably flat black).
The fold-down design will make the wiring much easier.
The port side components make this end very busy with wiring, sensor cables, and pitot lines. The space behind the iPad will contain the 12 vdc USB charger and 2 small terminal blocks (positive and negative power distribution). Pictures and diagram will follow.
I originally designed the panel to fit my early iPad Air (Gen 1). It is somewhat larger than the iPad 6 Mini (Christmas/Birthday gift). I MAY trim down the height of the panel once I sit in the cockpit and get a feel for the view over the panel and nose, but as of now I like the layout as it is.
